Tuesday, August 4th - Moving Day!!!

Yesterday we moved into a student hostel for the final week of research. It is perfectly located in the Chrysaliniotissa neighborhood, which is one of my case studies to determine the success of the Nicosia Master Plan in the revitalization of the old city. This was part of the Nicosia Master Plan, and is run by the University of Cyprus. It is an incredibly peaceful place to stay, with the arcade of arches surrounding the interior courtyard, and the peace and quiet of being positioned right next to the buffer zone! Also, we are two of the three total people living there right now so there are no distractions… What more could I ask for?

    What is the capacity of this hostel?

    Changes my perception of hostels, this is beautiful.

    There are 10 bedrooms and the one we stayed in was a double. I'm not sure what the total capacity, but three was far too few! Mike and I weren't complaining though.
